The Montgomery Transport Group's history began in 1970 with the formation of Montgomery Transport in Glengormley, Northern Ireland. Specializing in unit load services between Great Britain and Ireland, Montgomery Transport quickly developed a growing reputation as a quality service provider.
Under the umbrella of the holding company Ballyvesey Holdings - now one of the top 20 companies in Northern Ireland, new acquisitions have enabled the Group to develop the range of services it provides. These include daily groupage services between Britain and all Ireland, warehousing, bulk distribution and temperature-controlled distribution. The Montgomery Transport Group is now one of Europe's leading logistics suppliers and through our extensive resources we do not just manage a logistics operation for shippers, we operate and control it
entirely 'in-house'.
There are any number of transport options available to Irish and European shippers today, but there are very few with the resources to enable all of your logistics requirements to be catered for by one single supplier.

- Conventional Tautliners
- Box Vans
- Flat Bed trailers
- 128 Bulk Tankers - liquid, powder and fuel
- 95 Refrigerated Trailers for fresh, chilled and frozen distribution
- 400 Tractor Units
- 130 Rigid Vehicles - the majority of which are fitted with tail-lifts for High Street deliveries. Hanging garments are also catered for.
